Particularly, psSAR is inaccurate for frequencies that exceed 6 GHz. In addition, psSAR is not been evaluated for RF radiation with co-exposure to other environmental agents , such as sunlight. The interactions of RF radiation with other environmental agents may produce synergistic or antagonistic results. This would result in the risk of having adverse health effects. For example, co-exposure to RF radiation with sunlight may cause an increase in the incidence of skin cancer, and may also exacerbate other skin disorders, such as acne.
